Happy Friday, friends! I am so ready for this weekend and the cooler weather it promises. We have got a day trip in the plans for tomorrow. Pumpkin fields, corn mazes, and pumpkin ice cream are all on the agenda.

Let’s bake a pie today, it just feels like the right thing to do.
The boxes are beginning to pile up, the paint has been purchased, and a sense of transition mingles with the comfort of my pumpkin-scented candles.
The days are moving forward with such rapidity I can scarcely catch my breath. Addled by the dates in my daily journal and helpless to stop tomorrow from becoming today, I often sit, my hands restless, trying to renew my grasp upon reality.
