My week has primarily consisted of caring for our sweet little addition. I planned weeks ago to take some time off to get us both adjusted to this new way of life and I am so glad that I did. We have basked in these quiet days at home, and cherished many a nap on the sofa together. She is precious. I am exhausted. All is well.
I managed to contract a winter cold over the past few days, but I am not complaining. I will take a cold over the flu any day of the week.
This tea has been my go-to the past few days. Spiked with a shot of cream and a bit of raw sugar, it is a strawberries-and-cream fantasy. Pair it with a thick slice of Nutella-smothered toast and oh my gosh...is this real life?
